#SarokaSeries 4 with Kelly Lemarseny of Common Ground Boutique

To co-own a boutique at the age of 21 is a seriously impressive deal!!! We love nothing more than celebrating women of success, so we caught up with the delightful Kelly Lemarsney of Common Ground Boutique, who talks about turning her dream into a reality.

 1. You recently opened up your own boutique- The Common Ground, how did your business dream come about?Â
My dream was to always have my own boutique as far back as I can remember I was always into my fashion, my mum tells me stories of when I was younger and I used to always dress in the most outrageous outfits. I recently moved to Sydney with my partner and studied at FBI Fashion college and after our 2 years in Sydney we both just knew that we had to open something for ourselves and that was really how the dream became our reality.Â

2. Tell us what is a typical day like in the life of a boutique owner?
No day is really the same for us, me and my partner Harry are both in the store 7 days working on everything together. Since we have opened the store everyday we are both interacting with customers, following up emails, attending showings, buying for the store and at the moment organising our online store, each day is super busy but it's exactly how we like it.Â

3. If you could splurge on any three fashion items, what would be they be?
Okay so my top splurge would definitely be a handbag, I am such a sucker for a good handbag and it will always be my first thing to splurge on. I would also say a good pair of edgy black boots and a good pair of white sneakers.Â
